PRAISE & WORSHIP DELIVERANCE CENTER'S DECLARATION OF FAITH:
1-We believe that the Bible as originally given is the inerrant Word of God and is the final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice.
2-We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3- We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the Father's right hand as the Intercessor.
4-We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
5-We believe in the divine person of the Holy Spirit; in His work of convicting the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment; in His indwelling every believer, enabling him to gain victory over sin, to receive power for service, and to make known to him the things of God.
6- We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith as Savior and Lord are justified in the sight of the Holy God on the grounds of Christ's shed blood and receive eternal salvation, while those who reject Him are judge to eternal condemnation. Both shall be raised bodily from the dead, the just to everlasting blessedness with the " Lord God Almighty and the Lamb" and the unjust to everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire with " the devil and angels."
7-We believe the Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
8-We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart.
9- We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the Holy Spirit.
10-We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
11-We believe divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
12- We believe in the Lord's Supper and washing of the saint's feet.
13- We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
14- We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
15- We believe that it is the privilege and responsibility of the Christian to live a Spirit-filled life, a life expressed by the apostle Paul as " not I but Christ lived in me"; that this victorious life is a life of faith, by faith yielding our life to God and His will once and for all, and by faith yielding to Him moment by moment; that this act of faith will involve the confession and cleaning from past sin with restitution where necessary, deliverance from the practice of known sin, and continuing obedience to the will of God, as God reveals to us His will for our lives through fellowship with Him in prayer and careful study of His word.
